I’m honoured to share that I’ve been named a finalist in the Tina Arena Special Impact Award at the 2026 Australian Women in Music Awards (AWMA), a recognition that celebrates unsung champions making a lasting impact across the Australian music industry.
This award holds special meaning for me. My belief in the power of voice and music to heal, connect and transform has shaped everything I’ve created – from over three decades on stage with Pot-Pourri and founding The Song Room and Creativity Australia’s With One Voice social inclusion choirs to co-founding Mind Medicine Australia, where music continues to play a role in helping people heal from trauma and mental illness.
The AWMA ceremony will be held on Thursday 27 May 2027 at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, alongside the inaugural AWMA Conference.
